Amateur sport club - Costa Rica
MagnatechLED has been asked to supply an LED lighting solution to replace inefficient and dated 2x400W MH bulbs fittings used to light 5 amateur football pitches and 6 tennis courts in a sport center in the city of San Jose (Costa Rica).
The Optolite Sigma 400W 4000K has been seen to be an optimal solution due to the modular design and a wide option for optics which allowed to reach a good uniformity with an average 300lux at ground level.
The IP65 and IK08 rating also complied with customer request for a robust and waterproof product to be used for outdoor applications.
The LED-in fittings supplied have an LED life span of approximately 80,000 hours, therefore eliminating the need for ongoing lamp replacement using expensive access equipment.
